The City of Regina has released its annual report of public accounts, which details how much each employee earned in the last year.
The top earning city employees for the year ending Dec. 31, 2015 are as follows:
Other notable earners include Mayor Michael Fougere at $111,275, fire Chief Ernie Polsom at $161,643, and Jeffrey Barber, the Regina Public Library director and CEO, at $185, 096. Former director of communications Chris Holden’s salary was $161,643 in 2015. However, he’ll be getting a raise of $100,000 in 2016, as he was recently named as the new city manager, taking over from the outgoing Glen Davies.
The city defines the “other” category as one that includes reimbursements for items such as vehicle expenses, long-term learning reimbursements, severance pay, and any eligible sick or vacation payouts.
