These are the matchups we’ve all been waiting for in the NFL’s final four.
Both AFC and NFC Championship games have given us appetizers for this weekend earlier in the season.
The Patriots and Chiefs was a thriller to the end with a total of 83 points scored, while the Rams and Saints was almost as good with an 80-point total.
Now, we can’t expect the offensive explosions we got earlier in the season but we should be in for similar drama with better defence.
And again we have young versus old in terms of QB matchups. 40-somethings Brady and Brees go up against a 23-year-old Patrick Mahomes and 24-year-old Jared Goff.
Earlier in the playoffs, it was the vet QBs who were able to beat out the young guns.
As much as I’ll be cheering to see offenses like the Chiefs and Rams in Super Bowl 53, I’m taking the vets.
The Patriots will be ready to surprise and confuse Mahomes, while home field will pay off huge in the NFC Title game.
And we’ll have a Hall of Fame matchup in Super Bowl 53. Brady v Brees.
