Sarah Mills: We came so close to the zipper merge
Three block of two lanes of traffic merging one by one, with everyone inching forward. It was the zipper merge in action...
A quick chase in a southeast Prince Albert suburb Thursday ended with a truck crashing into a police cruiser and a house.
Big River RCMP had contacted the Prince Albert Police Service shortly after 10 a.m. saying to be on the lookout for two suspects, believed to be involved in a violent home invasion, in a stolen truck.
The truck was spotted in P.A. shortly after noon. Police tried to stop the truck in a parking lot, but it took off.
The truck barreled through the courtyard of an apartment building and struck a police vehicle before crashing into a house across the road.
No one was hurt. Two 19-year-old suspects were arrested and charged.
