Regina police are investigating the first murder of the year in the Queen City.
Officers found the body of 27-year-old Morris Poitras on the 800 block of Montague Street near Kitchener School on Thursday.
At the time, they didn’t say the death was suspicious, but called in the province’s coroner to help with the investigation.
Friday, after gathering evidence, police confirmed it was a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
