Residents and patients waiting to get back into the Leader and District Integrated Healthcare Facility will need to wait a little longer.
An update from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) said the repairs to the facility are complete.
But air quality tests haven’t confirmed the facility is safe for people to return. Further testing is being done and results are expected in early March.
On Feb. 7, the SHA tweeted that the facility was evacuated due to a water line break.
Twenty-five long-term care residents had to be moved from the building.
Earlier this month, the health authority stated it was hoping to have residents in by the end of February.
The SHA said regular communication with residents and their families indicate everyone is safe, healthy and well-cared for.
Primary health care services continue in neighbouring communities and will be evaluated at the end of this week.
