Outdoor pools in Saskatoon are finally opening for the summer this week.
Lathey and Riversdale pools are the first to open for swimmers on Wednesday, followed by George Ward and Mayfair pools on Monday.
General admission to the outdoor facilities provides access to a variety of aquatic drop-in activities for all ages such as aquafitness classes along with public, lane, and parent and tot swims.
Swimming lessons are offered for all ages and abilities at each outdoor pool, with more information available in the leisure guide.
Children six and under receive free admission when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The city said patrons can once again buy a pack of 10 tickets, which gives a 20% discount off the regular general rates.
Outdoor pools close immediately if lightning occurs or if the temperature is 14 C or lower or during steady rain conditions.
Look here for drop-in times and to find an outdoor pool near you.
