Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Wednesday morning after funnel clouds were reported between Moose Jaw and Mossbank.
The advisory said two or three weak funnel clouds were reported late in the morning, and there is a possibility that there could be more. However, the atmosphere is expected to stabilize sometime in the afternoon.
The weather service said these types of funnel clouds don’t normally pose any danger near the ground, however there is always a chance that the rotation could grow stronger.
All weather advisories were lifted on Wednesday afternoon. See the latest alerts and statements from Environment Canada.
