Preparations are underway for an anti-carbon tax rally in Regina this Thursday.
Fillmore’s Blair Stewart is co-organizing the demonstration. Speaking with 980 CJME’s John Gormley, he said they’ve got more than 400 people showing up.
“This rally is for the people of Saskatchewan. It’s for supporting the drivers of our economy,” he said.
The demonstration will involve a convoy starting at 11 a.m. It will travel on Arcola Avenue and Saskatchewan Drive, north on Lewvan Drive, meeting at the Queensbury Convention Centre at 2 p.m.
There will be speakers there, Premier Scott Moe among them.
“Stop the carbon tax, kill Bill C-48 and Bill C-69 and let’s find a way to build the pipelines,” Stewart said.
