Man, 22, identified as pilot killed in plane crash in southeast Sask.

A 22-year-old man is dead after a plane crashed in a farmer’s field near Rocanville, Sask. Friday night.

RCMP released the age and gender of the victim Monday; no name was given.

Moosomin RCMP and emergency services were called at approximately 6:15 p.m. The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rocanville is located about 20 kilometres west of the Manitoba border.

The investigation has now been turned out to Transport Canada.
