Family members and friends of Jenaya Wapemoose are to gather in Regina on Saturday to search for the missing woman.
Wapemoose, a 22-year-old mother of one, hasn’t been seen or heard from since April 7.
On Saturday at 11 a.m., people are to meet on a lot owned by the Cowessess First Nation at 7th Avenue and Albert Street. From there, they’ll disperse to put up posters and talk to members of the public to spread awareness about Wapemoose’s disappearance.

According to a media release issued Thursday by the Cowessess First Nation, Wapemoose had been staying with friends and family in the city until her disappearance.
Wapemoose is described as being Indigenous, 5-foot-4 and 120 pounds with light brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo that says “Anabelle” on the left side of her chest and one that reads “Wahpimoostoosis” on the right side of her chest. She also has the words “Each day is a gift & not a right” tattooed behind her left ear.
