Knives, machetes and a bat were among the weapons used in four separate incidents that led to six arrests in Saskatoon over 24 hours.
Saskatoon police said the first incident took place Tuesday around 7 a.m.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Avenue P South where three people had been threatened by two suspects who had entered the home, armed with a knife.
The suspects were found nearby a short time later.
A 25-year-old woman is charged with three counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, carrying a concealed weapon and breaching a court order.
A man is charged with breach of probation.
The second call came in around 12:40 p.m. about a man assaulted at a place in the 600 block of Avenue I South.
Police said a woman and man reported they had returned home to find another man inside the house.
When the uninvited guest was asked to leave, he allegedly started swinging a machete at them.
The suspect then confined the victims inside before striking and injuring the man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect ran away, but officers identified him.
A 29-year-old man is facing two counts of unlawful confinement along with charges of aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.
Less than four hours later, police were called to a fight between two men in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West.
One man had a knife, the other a bat.
Officers later charged a 32-year-old man with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and breach of probation.
No one was injured.
Lastly, around 3 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue T South where a woman had been threatened by a teenage girl armed with a machete.
Police arrested two teenagers at a nearby home.
A 14-year-old girl is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and a 15-year-old boy is charged with breach of undertaking.
No one was injured during the incident.
