Over 3,000 stuffed animals were tossed onto the ice.
The Regina Police Service’s emergency services teams were conducting an investigation in the area of Second Avenue North and Rose Street on Wednesday afternoon.
Residents of the area were asked to remain in their homes and schools in the area — St. Michael, Mother Teresa and Imperial — were placed in secure-the-building mode.
That order subsequently was lifted and the students were dismissed from the schools without any problems.
More to come.
