A man in Moose Jaw is being charged with impaired driving after police say he blew over three times the legal limit.
Thursday night around 11:15 p.m. officers from the Moose Jaw Police Service were called out to a crash involving two vehicles. Police say when they arrived one of the people in the crash was attempting to run away. Several witnesses watched the man and officers eventually found him.
The 27-year-old man was charged. Nobody was injured in the crash and damage is pegged at $15,000.
The alleged drunk driving incident comes at a tender time for some in Saskatchewan. Just this week, Catherine McKay was sentenced for killing the Van de Vorst family while impaired behind the wheel.
