A joyride on a self-propelled auger was one of the incidents in a recent mischief spree in Morse.
According to a media release Friday from the Morse RCMP, a series of events occurred between the evening of June 13 and the evening of June 16.
At some point in that span, someone took a self-propelled auger and used it to tear up an adjacent field. The auger also was damaged.
The police believe the same suspects may have tampered with a nearby irrigation system in hopes of running it out of water. A fail-safe mechanism stopped that from happening, but the motor of the system still was damaged.
As well, the same people may be responsible for digging up several grid roads in the area by doing donuts in the gravel.
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact the Morse RCMP at 1-306-629-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
