SaskEnergy is doing some maintenance work on a station near Harbour Landing. Crews will have to cut into an empty pipe. They have the area enclosed and filter systems in place, but some of the odourant that smells like rotten eggs may be released into the air.
SaskEnergy is still encouraging people in that neighbourhood to call if they smell a natural gas odour, saying the company doesn’t want to take the chance of there being an underground leak in addition to the work being done.
