A 49-year-old Regina man faces six charges in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl.
Now, the Regina Police Service is trying to determine if there are other victims in Saskatchewan or across the country.
In a media release Wednesday, the police said officers responded to a home in the city at about 9:15 a.m., on Aug. 1 for the report of a sexual assault. Officers were told the incident had occurred at the home the previous evening.
The investigation led to the arrest of Christopher Cameron Duke. He was charged with two counts each of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, and anal intercourse.
Duke made his first court appearance on Friday.
In the media release, the police said Duke has travelled across Canada. He was in Esterhazy from November of 2018 to February of this year, and travelled from Fort Saskatchewan, Alta., to Dawson Creek and Taylor, B.C., in June and July of this year. He also has a campsite at the Craven Country Campground.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500, their local law enforcement agency, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
