There is a winning ticket for the $60 million Lotto Max Jackpot.
It has been confirmed the winning ticket was sold somewhere in Saskatchewan.
Andrea Marantz with Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC), said they can only narrow down where the ticket was sold somewhat.
“The winning ticket was indeed purchased in Saskatchewan, what we do know is that it was not purchased in either Saskatoon or Regina.”
Marantz said they don’t know how long it will take before they know who the winner is because there are a number of factors, such as the physical condition of the ticket.
Marantz said there have also been cases where people have not checked their tickets right away.
“We have had cases where people are in a pattern of waiting until they have a stack of tickets, to check them all at once.”
Marantz said the winner of the prize has up to one year to claim it.
