'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
Investigators have now cleared the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a car at Highway 6 and Industrial Drive just north of Regina.
Police say it happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 6 at 8:15 a.m. A northbound Pontiac car made a left turn to proceed on Industrial Drive when it collided with a southbound motorcycle. The 34-year-old driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. The 21-year-old driver of the car was not injured.
The southbound lanes of Highway 6 were closed for several hours as members of the RCMP and the traffic collision reconstructionist investigated, but it re-opened to traffic early in the afternoon.
No charges have been laid at this point.
