Officers from the Regina Police Service engaged in a four-hour standoff Monday evening in the Uplands area of the city.
Just before 6 p.m., officers determined that two men — both of whom were subjects of warrants for arrest — were in a house in the 300 block of Oakview Drive.
Patrol officers, along with stolen auto investigators and a canine unit, set up a perimeter around the home.
One of the men came out of the house immediately and was arrested without incident. After four hours of negotiation, the second man also exited the house and was taken into custody.
The men face property-related charges. They were to appear in Provincial Court on Tuesday.
