Traffic lights are being installed at the site of a deadly crash between a motorcycle and car just north of Regina.
Tuesday morning, a 34-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed after a collision with a car at Highway 6 and Industrial Drive.
Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure confirms lights will be going up at that intersection, along with the intersection of Highway 6 and Inland Drive. The ministry indicated plans had already been in the works before the deadly crash. Tenders for the two projects close Aug. 23.
Work is anticipated to begin this construction season.
