One man has been charged and is wanted by police after an investigation into a 2018 hit and run south of Battleford.
On July 25, 2018, officers were called to a man laying on Highway 4, about one kilometre south of Battleford. They found one man who had died after being run over by a vehicle that had fled the scene and was not identified.
The year-long investigation has resulted in August Devin Nahbexie from the Saulteaux First Nation being charged with failure to stop at the scene of an accident causing death, failing to comply with a probation order, failing to comply with an undertaking and obstruction.
The RCMP said he is wanted on nine other unrelated charges.
Officers ask anyone who knows the whereabouts of Nahbexie to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
