A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that occurred in Regina on July 21.
Kamalladin Nur, a 27-year-old resident of Regina, is described by police as 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds with a dark complexion, brown eyes, black hair (possibly in braids) and a thin black goatee.
On July 21 at approximately 1:25 a.m., police were called to a nightclub in the 2100 block of Broad Street for the report of a possible shooting. Officers were told a man believed to be the victim had run off in one direction and the suspect had taken off in the opposite direction.
Shortly afterwards, officers attended a Regina hospital to see a 25-year-old male who had been shot. Police determined there had been a fight involving at least four people outside the club, and the altercation ended in gunshots.
