Regina police are asking for the public’s help in finding three men they believe carjacked a driver at gunpoint just after midnight on Wednesday morning.
In an emailed news release, the police service said the alleged carjacking happened in the area of Scarth Street and Second Avenue North, about three blocks west of Broad Street.
They allege that three men approached the victim’s vehicle and threatened the male driver with guns.
The three men allegedly got into the car with the victim, drove it to the Eastview neighbourhood and left the driver at the 800 block of MacKay Street.
Police recovered the car later and the alleged victim wasn’t injured.
Now police are looking for a 30-year-old man who was tall and wearing a baseball cap, another 30-year-old man with tattoos on his forearms, and a 20-year-old man with long hair who also wore a baseball cap.
Anyone with information about the incident should call Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
