Bo Levi Mitchell’s return definitely makes things interesting in the back half of the CFL season.
The Stampeders quarterback is off the six-game injured list early and is gunning for a Monday return in the Labour Day game between the Stamps and the Eskimos.
Mitchell is a everything you want from a quarterback. He knows when to be serious and when to take $20 from betting teammates.
The Stampeders have their leader back and it should send shivers down the spine of the entire league. Bo is coming off of a MOP season and a Grey Cup championship.
The Stamps are technically fourth out of five in the CFL’s West Division. With Bo returning, Calgary is clearly a contender.
Many fans in Calgary think with Mitchell back the Stamps will be unstoppable, that 12 wins to win the West and a 7-2 second half of the season is easily attainable now that Bo is back.
I still see holes in the Stampeders I haven’t seen in several years, so I’m fine predicting a third- or fourth-place finish this season for Calgary.
