Fake American funds fooling Saskatoon business owners

Counterfeit American money has been showing up in Saskatoon.

Police issued a warning to business owners Thursday to make sure they don’t get fooled.

The fake bills started showing up about a week ago, and a variety of different business owners have accepted the bills.

Police suggest people ask for a different form of payment if they’re uncomfortable with the money being given.
