A member of the Snowbirds ejected from his aircraft shortly before the demonstration squadron was set to perform at the Atlanta Air Show on Sunday.
The Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds, based out of 15 Wing Moose Jaw, issued a statement on Twitter confirming Capt. Kevin Domon-Grenier ejected from his aircraft and made it safely to the ground unharmed.
“Snowbird 5, Capt. Kevin Domon-Grenier was forced to eject from his aircraft shiortly (sic) before our performance in Atlanta this afternoon,” the tweet read. “Capt Domon-Grenier made it safely to the ground and is okay. The aircraft fell in an unpopulated area and no one was injured.”
