Much like Monday, the snow and the cold temperatures will last throughout Tuesday in Regina, according to Environment Canada.
“The snow should probably linger there for a good portion of the day,” said meteorologist Mike Russo.
Through the weekend and into Tuesday, the temperature has been below seasonal averages, and that will be the case on Tuesday, too.
The daytime high is forecasted to be -7 C. The seasonal average high for Oct. 29 in the Queen City is 7 C.
Russo added that since the weekend, about four centimetres of snow, or 1.5 inches, fell on the city.
The weather agency is forecasting the skies to clear up in Regina on Wednesday, with the sun emerging among some lingering clouds. It’s predicting the high will be -5 C.
The daytime high for Halloween should be 2 C, Russo said.
“There’s still going to be a chance of some precipitation during the evening hours,” he said.
The low temperature is forecasted to be -3 C.
