A number of businesses were evacuated in the Sutherland area Tuesday evening after a fire at a fireworks shop.
Fire crews were called after 9 p.m. to Phatboy Fireworks on Central Avenue after several reports of smoke coming from the building.
Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the roof and front of the building.
Once inside the shop they faced zero visibility due to heavy smoke while contending with exploding fireworks.
It took nearly 2 1/2 hours to beat down the stubborn fire.
No injuries were reported.
A fire investigator is currently on scene to determine how the blaze started.
