Andrew Harris bolted at his first chance when asked about Winnipeg media that didn’t vote for him for CFL individual awards, but the running back really only has one person to blame: The guy that stares back at him in the mirror every morning.
Last time I checked, Harris is a 32-year old man who, and this is his story, purchased an over-the-counter supplement at a health food store. He claims it was tainted, without providing proof to this point.
Harris is a grown man who is responsible for what he puts in his body and making sure what he puts in his body is cleared by the CFL.
He didn’t.
He has to be the one who takes the responsibility of allowing something to enter his system that in most leagues would make him ineligible for individual season awards. If he was in Major League Baseball, he’d be ineligible to even compete in the playoffs.
This is the bed Harris made for himself and he’s the one who has to lie in it, not the media that decided a PED suspension impacts a player’s resume for such awards.
