Interested in writing, or getting your writing published?
A Saskatoon author is hoping to share his knowledge in an online class presented Tuesday.
Arthur Slade has written around two dozen books in his career, and is now looking to help the next generation of writers.
Slade joined the Brent Loucks show last Thursday morning to talk about the class for writers of all ages and all skill levels.
“It can be a painful feeling to have a book inside you, and you have to get it out. This is the course that will help you with that,” he said.
“Writing Fantasy and Science Fiction” will be available at any time after the taping Tuesday, but you’ll only be able to ask questions during the live portion.
Slade said this isn’t just geared to fantasy or science fiction writers, but will present ways for writers to hone their skills and get better at their craft.
“It’s a toolbox for people to kind of reach into and say, ‘yeah, this is what I can do to write a book,’ or ‘this is how I can make my book better,’ that sort of thing.”
