Man charged after break-in at home near University of Regina

A 21-year-old Regina man is facing charges after a break-in at a Hillsdale home Saturday morning.

In a media release Sunday, police said officers were called the 80 block of Munroe Place around 4 a.m. after the person inside the home heard someone enter the residence.

According to police, the suspect stole a few undisclosed items and “left without further incident.”

Officers located the suspect nearby, and arrested and charged him with breaking and entering.

The man will appear in provincial court on Tuesday.
