Pats down Wheat Kings for second straight victory

The Regina Pats are on their first winning streak of the 2019-20 WHL season.
Regina, which beat the Swift Current Broncos 6-0 on Friday, defeated the host Brandon Wheat Kings 5-4 on Saturday. The Pats improved to 5-14-2-0 with the victory.
Kyle Walker’s goal at 16:54 of the third period stood up as the winner for Regina. Riley Krane, Carter Chorney, Carson Denomie and Robbie Holmes also scored for the Pats, who got 27 saves from Donovan Buskey.
Ben McCartney, Lynden McCallum, Jonny Lambos and Braden Schneider replied for the Wheat Kings (11-14-1-0). Jiri Patera stopped 32 shots in the Brandon net.
The Pats are to return to action Wednesday against the host Lethbridge Hurricanes.
