The White Butte RCMP has reopened Highway 10 between Balgonie and Edgeley after what it called a serious collision there on Sunday night.
Mounties and first responders were on the scene after the crash happened.
In a media release issued by the Mounties on Sunday at about 8:15 p.m., the highway was “expected to be shut down for the foreseeable future.”
The RCMP recommended that drivers should take alternate routes, either by travelling through Edenwold on Highway 364 or through McLean on the Trans-Canada Highway.
The police service reminded drivers to be cautious about icy road conditions and to always check the provincial Highway Hotline before starting a trip.
