Esterhazy man facing child porn charges

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a 52-year-old man with possession of child pornography and making child pornography available to others.

Jeffrey Markey of Esterhazy was arrested on Sept. 20 after police launched an investigation into his activities on a peer-to-peer sharing network.

The suspect is accused of downloading and sharing child porn images and videos.

Markey was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 21.
