8:30 – Premier Scott Moe met with Trudeau’s newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland on Tuesday to discuss western issues and how the two governments can work together. While Moe described the meeting as candid and cordial, he said he relayed the “real frustrations of Saskatchewan people” to Freeland, and said the federal government must take action soon to address the feelings of alienation. Moe joins Gormley now to discuss the meeting.
