The Regina Police Service says two men are facing charges after they allegedly injured each other Saturday.
According to a media release, officers responded to the 1100 block of Montague Street at about 3:25 p.m., for a call about a weapons offence involving a knife.
Officers were told an injured man had gone to a house and asked for help, but ended up leaving in a vehicle.
Police went to the hospital and found a 20-year-old man who had been stabbed. As a part of the investigation, officers then located a 22-year-old man in hospital who needed medical help.
After further investigation, officers charged the 20-year-old man with assault with a weapon and the 22-year-old man with attempted murder.
Because each man is the alleged victim of the other, the police didn’t release their names.
The men made their first court appearances Monday morning.
