Don’t do it!
Don’t say it!
Don’t even think it!
What is ‘it,’ you ask? Don’t you dare say it’s the end of the New England Patriots. Don’t. You’ll live to regret it.
It has been written and said and thought for what feels like a decade. It’s the end of the dynasty of the Patriots and then there they are all over again, going for another Super Bowl.
Does the Patriots’ offence look bad? Yes. Do they look formidable? No. However, their defence has been very good for most of the season, though they’re nowhere near where they were at the start of the year.
But I feel this team is still figuring itself out, which is scary considering it’s 10-3 on the season and still in a spot to get a bye to divisional weekend.
Write the Patriots off all you want but I’m not going to until Tom Brady and/or Bill Belichick are no longer on the sidelines in Foxborough.
