A moose was a little lost Wednesday morning when it wandered into Regina.
The Ministry of Environment confirmed the Regina field office received several calls about a Moose. Conservation officers have looked for it but could not find it.
The government said the reports were from the southeast edge of the city.
The government added moose, dear, and other wild animals move around Saskatchewan at this time of year looking for suitable habitat, food, or mates, and in doing so will cross roads and highways and occasionally enter into towns and cities.
Moose are unpredictable wild animals, so it is important to keep your distance when you encounter one and call the authorities. It is also important to be alert when driving, have good defensive driving techniques, and watch for wildlife crossing the roads.
