Expect to see a pink fire truck racing from call to call around Saskatoon.
Fire engine 12 is painted in traditional red, but it will remain wrapped in pink throughout the month of October.
The goal is to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.
People will be able to sign the truck, for a small fee. The $10 donation will go toward breast cancer research.
Just make sure the crew is not responding to an emergency before approaching.
The hope is that the truck will make it out to the following events:
- Woman’s World Show at Prairieland Park on October 1.
- Ladies Optimist Gala at TCU Place on October 15.
- C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer Research at the Circle Centre Mall on October 21.
- Breast Health Comedy Night at the Parktown Hotel on October 21.
