It’s Dec. 23, which means Festivus and the airing of grievances.
First, coaches’ challenges. Not that they exist, but that they take too long; 90 seconds max, that’s it, get on with it.
Second, four-way stops in Saskatchewan. Can you please read up on how to proceed when you get to one? Also, when the lights are flashing red at an intersection, that means it’s a four-way stop.
Third, playoff formats. I don’t like many of them. Leagues need to do a better job of making the regular season results much more valuable, especially in hockey and the CFL.
Finally, the phrase, “I could care less.” Don’t say it, please.
Thanks to Darrell Davis for trying hard to remember the correct way to tell people you don’t care about a topic, or a show, or a sport, is I couldn’t care less, leaving no doubt how much you care.
There, I’m glad that’s off my chest for the new year.
