A woman was walking down the street near Regina’s downtown on Saturday morning when a man approached and robbed her.
According to police, the woman was on Ottawa Street near 12th Avenue around 8 in the morning. She told police a man walked up behind her and asked for money – when she started to turn she was pushed to the ground and the man stole her bag. The woman only had minor injuries.
The thief is described as an aboriginal man, about 5-foot-8, with a pock-marked face and shoulder length brown hair. He’s about 40 to 45 years old, wearing a black spring jacket and blue jeans.
