Three men face charges after Saskatoon police launched an investigation into fentanyl trafficking.
Police said officers witnessed a drug deal behind a business in the 1600 block of 20th Street West last Friday.
Two men, age 25 and 26, were arrested. Officers said the suspects were found with cash and fentanyl pills.
A search warrant was subsequently executed at a home in the 2000 block of Wilson Crescent.
There, investigators found more than $5,200 in cash and drug “score sheets” inside the home.
A 52-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
In total, police said officers seized 21 fentanyl pills and more than $8,300 in cash.
The three men are facing charges including trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
