Logan Flodell kept up his strong play with 36 saves as the Saskatoon Blades beat Kelowna 4-2 Friday night.
The win opens a five-game road trip for Saskatoon across B.C.
Jesse Shynkaruk and Mason McCarty led the Blades offense with a pair of goals each.
Flodell, the reigning CHL and WHL goalie of the week received a round of applause and the first star for frustrating the Rockets offense, despite a 38-17 shot differential.
The Blades continue the B.C roadtrip on Tuesday, Oct. 18 in Victoria.
