Billets were found for all Red Wings players in just four hours.
Several buildings were evacuated in downtown Regina Tuesday morning after a natural gas leak.
Hundred of people forced to leave the buildings as fire crews were on scene to deal with the leak.
SaskEnergy said a delivery truck struck a dumpster and then the dumpster smashed into a steel protective post which bent and hit the gas meter.
“We did make the decision to use the isolation valves that we have in that area of the downtown and took down about a four block area of service as a precaution,” SaskEnergy’s Director of Media and Government Relations, Dave Berdeniuk, said.
The leak has been stopped and the line is under repairs.
“Our technicians had to rebuild the gas meter which isn’t a complicated repair job,” Berdeniuk said, adding the damage could’ve been much worse.
Transit was was also delayed due to the leak.
