The Regina Police Service is looking for suspects and information after a violent home invasion Tuesday night.
In a media release, the RPS said officers were called to a break-in at an apartment in the 1900 block of Montreal Street around 11 a.m. Wednesday.
When police arrived, they learned that at around 10:45 p.m. the night before, a man and a woman were inside the apartment when three masked suspects — two males and one female — entered the home. Two other suspects also allegedly stayed in the hallway.
The suspects inside the residence then began going through belongings.
Before the suspects left with the stolen items, one of them assaulted the man living in the apartment with a weapon.
The two male suspects who entered the home were described to police as wearing red and black sweaters, black hats, dark pants and gloves. Their faces were also covered with either bandannas or masks.
The female suspect was described as wearing a red hoodie and grey sweatpants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Regina police at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
