AJ Jacubec said roster, coaching and penalties held Canada back at the World Juniors.
A pedestrian had to be sent to a Regina hospital early Saturday evening after she was hit by a vehicle.
Regina police said the woman in her 30s was crossing Dewdney Avenue at Angus Street, just west of Albert Street, when she was hit by a vehicle heading west – this was around 6 p.m.
Instead of getting out to check if the pedestrian was alright, the driver of the vehicle drove off.
The woman was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described by police as “noteworthy but non-life threatening”.
Police are still looking into what happened and are asking anyone with information on the hit and run to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
