Giant flame lights up morning sky near new Costco

If you were driving on Highway 16 east of Saskatoon you would have spotted a huge fireball Wednesday morning near the new Costco store.

TransGas was doing a controlled flare of natural gas from 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m.

The company was burning off excess gas so they can do maintenance at the facility.
