Blades scored eight unanswered goals against Broncos en route to a 9-3 win
Yorkton’s Brett Kemp scored four goals to help the Medicine Hat Tigers post an 8-2 WHL victory over the Regina Pats on Friday at the Brandt Centre.
Regina product Cole Sillinger added a goal and two assists for the Tigers, who got their other goals from Parker Gavlas, Lukas Svejkovsky and Baxter Anderson.
Zack Smith and Logan Nijhoff replied for Regina, which is 2-6-1-0 in its past nine games.
Mads Sogaard stopped 18 shots for the Tigers (36-19-2-1). Donovan Buskey made 32 saves for the Pats (20-32-4-2).
The teams are to meet again Saturday, but this time in Medicine Hat.
