The City of Saskatoon is closing to the public, all of its facilities including city hall, after the province declared a state of emergency for COVID-19.
City Manager Jeff Jorgenson, says this move is an important preventative measure to help slow the rate of COVID-19 in Saskatoon and protect city staff, as well as those most vulnerable in Saskatoon.
“While we are closed to the public, our business operations will continue to provide essential services for our residents as much as possible,” said Jorgenson.
The city is also reminding people that there are many services offered online that citizens can access.
