The Saskatchewan government announced Friday that there are seven new cases of COVID-19 in the province, bringing the provincial total to 285.
However, the number of active cases decreased for the third day in a row as 21 more people recovered from the virus.
There are currently eight people in hospital across the province – four people in acute care and one in intensive care in Saskatoon, and two in acute care and one in ICU in Regina.
There are now 146 “active” cases across Saskatchewan, with 136 total recoveries.
The provincial update noted one of the new cases announced is a presumptive positive.
Saskatchewan has conducted 17,634 COVID-19 test to-date.
